Ryan,
I am amazed that InBubble Guy was able to get so many people to go in the direction of reading books. Not just any books but ones that could make the reader better at what they did and how they see the world of business. It will be sad not to see InBubble in the inbox. I hope that the site will remain so we can go to it just for references of what great works await a reading and relive the experience of IBG. Good Luck and prosper in the future.
Ryan, So many have said so much already, and I'm late in getting this in (of sorts, but the extended cut-off helped-thanks!), so in keeping with the new month and the coming hoilday: "Happy Independence Day!"
Now the color of the end, if you look up in the sky the next few nights, ought to be technicolor bursts of fireworks. Think of it as a nation-wide wake for the iBG and iBnation, and the beginning of a new life for yourself, and for all of us who have been your fellow travelers along this trip.
Quite a gig while it lasted and no deadly purple coolaide at the end, so we all live on for the better for having been a part of this...iBnation. Yipee-ki-ya!
Wow! What an ending! I liked this idea a lot. Sometimes the muse leaves. Other times the sirens of change beckon. One door closes another opens... maybe a tad trite but, I have found it so true. Stay on the path of happiness and purpose. Best of luck where ever life leads you next. I will miss this site, your commentary, the community and the occasional free book ;-)
Today Red is very blue on hearing this news.

Is it true you are trying out for the next Mark Burnett reality show? Rockstar: InBubble Band?
best of luck Ryan-
I don't know how I'll learn about cool new business books anymore.
And,I won't get a crown for all ten fingers...
You know, inBubbleDad, I know some *very* smart gnats. Bzzz...
inBubbleLady, that was sweet, and inciteful (er, insightful). As long as I'm stating the obvious here -- iBG, you should hang on to that one...
Now that, having read this entire page of touching comments, I've completely lost all meaning for the word "bubble", I think I'll sign off this last comment simply enough:
Ryan you have done a very good job with the sight and you have amazed me with your talents. I have know doubt that your next move will be just as successful.
Maybe inbubbleguy will now take more time to pick up his inbubbleguitar and share more of his inbubbletoons with the rest of the world. And i'm a bit sad we haven't heard a peep from inbubblemother yet today.
Ah, the fickle finger of fate has become lodged in your butt again, eh my son? What oh what can the next adventure be? You have been a “handyman guy”, “furnace gerbil guy”, sales guy, shipping guy, train engineer guy, and THE inbubble icon for the masses. Either you are a young man of many abilities awaiting that one “opportunity of a lifetime” or you have the attention span of a gnat. Time will tell, but be advised, the two extra bedrooms here at the mansion are “guest rooms” only; if you catch my drift.
As “Inbubbleguy” you have made me laugh, smile, frown, shake my head in amazement, shake my head in despair, and even tempted me to buy a business book or two. You have caused me to email your mother to ask “Did you see what YOUR son wrote today” and still other times I have been inclined to share your daily offerings with co-workers and friends. At times I have wondered “Where did he learn to write like that?” On other occasions I wondered if your computer had spell check or syntax checking. And there were those rare, yet frustrating occasions when I became convinced you had slept through every English class in high school and college. But no matter the quality of the daily posting, the one constant was the Inbubbleguy was my son and I was proud. But I was proud on “furnace gerbil” son, or sales son, and I will be proud no matter what you plan to do next. Move on inbubbleboy and be happy.
iBGuy, you're following all my steps for a "good breakup"!
They are: be honest about your feelings, don't drag it out too long, say nice things about the other person and value the good memories you have, give a parting gift (a book for everyone, yay!), and stay there long enough to give a good long hug before you go on with your life. Well done, my love. (May you never need to use these steps on me!)
I met Ryan before I met iBGuy, and I sheepishly admitted recently to reading a lot of the archive early on, and I am sure glad I got to experience the alter-ego for a little while and really understand what it was you did. I'm bummed too, not to have your two questions to look forward to every day anymore, but I know it is the right thing for you. You built something to be proud of and can use all you learned for the next thing you do.
I can't wait to see what life holds for you (and you and me together). You inspire me to dream and do.
You will truly be missed Ryan! I feel as though i am losing a friend! Thank you for making my day brighter and giving me many reqasons to laugh along the way. My bookshelves are full of books I never would have known about, were it not for you. Some I bought and some i won! How exciting that was! I am a better person for reading them. I wish you every success with your new adventure. Save our e-mail addressed and let us know how you are doing. God Bless!
a very sad day, indeed. Late to the office, got the email and wished I had stayed home. How are we ever going to learn about good biz books??? I even bought some! We will all miss you and the InBNation will never be the same without the leader, king, kahuna, baffoon of the bookmobile. We'll miss you and thanks for brightening our days.
Thanks, Ryan, for being iBG and giving me something to look forward to each day. Although I’m sad to see you go, I’m glad you’re following your passions.
The best advice I ever heard is to "find something you love and find someone to pay you to do it."
When we started iBW, we had the basic idea of featuring a book each day and giving away copies as the prize.
None of us could have anticipated what it would become. Ryan wrote each day sharing the challenges and insecurities he was facing; many the same as the ones we struggle with ourselves. This community gathered to buy books and raise money for charity. The security questions meant to stop web bots turned into a daily challenge and badges of pride for many of you.
Ryan created what you all of come to know and love about inBubbleWrap.
I am as sad as many of you are, but it is time for Ryan to explore another direction. I also hope we can find another way to engage you like we have have here over the past 18 months.
Sooo sad to see you go, but you must see another door opening while this one is closing. You always left a smile on my face and inspiration in my heart. The
books were fabulous and I have renewed energy & education to explore 'the blue ocean'. I wish you much success and happiness in whatever new ventures you explore !! Don't forget the folks who love you !!
Thank you for making me smile each day, wait anxiously to see if I've won (which I did once!), and learn along the way. I will miss your wit, philosophizing, and observations on life. You have had a positive impact on my life and many others, and isn't that what it's all about? Best of luck.
He returned to Milwaukee a refugee of Hurricane Katrina, and IBW was born. Is it true that he can leap tall buildings with a single bound? I've heard he can hit bases empty grandslams. Superman wears inBubbleGuy underwear. Love ya Brother.
And I too would love to purchase the colossal TOME of everyones' answers to your daily 2 questions. You've GOT to make that your parting project fore TRUE closure! Take care, Guy!
This is one of the saddest days I can remember. You've become like a friend - I visit you everyday. I leave you comments on occasion. I even got a personal email from you once and a special book. This is the end of a daily routine for me. Whatever will I do withmyself from 11:47 am to 11:49 am each day.
I wish you the best and I will SO miss you and your not-so-witty questions. I haven't won a book in a while, but I will especially miss my finger puppets. Even the other members of my office staff have taken turns decorating them!
I bought a book for the owner of my company from CEO Read and I think it's his most treasured possession.
Life as I know it will never be the same. The past 18 months have gone by so quickly!
I wish you only the best of luck and I hope to see you pop up again in my email box someday ...
Jacquee in Orlando - your faithful reader for over 600 days
OMG, I've been with you since day one and have enjoyed all the great books! (I do wish you would publish the 2 questions for IBG soon)! and have enjoyed the witty writing - I know that you're upset that you weren't working for Apple to get your free iPhone (ha ha), but nonetheless, I have to say that there is no better inbox mail than what what you have faithfully delivered every weekday! - Farewell and best to you - you'll be missed!
So suffer the children to the drums

So this to shall come to pass... thanks for the insights and books. I hope you get something out of the one I sent you. And may you reappear to us someday upon "this endless sojourn."
I'm so inbubble sad. Change is never easy, but you made my difficult days in a tumultous time easier. I will miss you and your comments, but know that you have touched many lives. I am hooked on some business books now because you introduced me to them.
The color of the end is a rainbow - as your opportunities are endless, and also the color of a sunset, as one chapter comes to an end, but a new one is just on the next page.
Good inbubble luck to you Ryan, you are appreciated and will be missed!
I never thought one could pop all the bubbles in a sheet of bubble wrap, but we have had many of fun emails from you and as time flies maybe we did. I still bet you step on it and did a mass pop. Have fun, I will await your next idea.
As might be said by Horatio, "Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet iBGprince, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!" Hello Ryan, I wish you the best and brighest path to your next adventure. InBubbleWrap was a treat each day and I will miss it. My little crowns look sad. Thank you for bringing us together to do good work and teaching us a little something new each day. Don't forget us and let us know what you are up to time to time. :-(
Well, this certainly popped my bubble. May all your future non-bubble activities be as bubbly as this one. And remember to drink a little bubbly as you head out the door one last time.
Oh yeah, one more thing Ryan... Let us all know what you are up to next, you have our e-mails!
Tears, tears, crying.... Something I look forward to each day... InBubble... no more... all good things come to an end, change is good, time marches on... (so much BS)....
Thank you ever so very much for the books, the laughs, the fun. Good luck!
THANK YOU FOR ADDING TO MY INTERNET EXPERIENCES. YOU DO HAVE A FLAIR IN YOUR WRITING STYLE WHICH MADE BUBBLEWRAP THAT BRIEF DAILY RESPET FROM THE OTHERWISE BORING GRIND. THE BOOKS I WON WERE EVEN MORE ICING ON MY CAKE. GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN YOUR NEW ENDEAVORS
Well, you've gone and done it. I am proud of the evolution you have gone through IBG! This is not the end, but the beginning of something new that will be even greater than the learning you have brought to all of us as well as yourself.
The internet is in its infancy and you have done well to find a new and fun angle.
Job well done! Put me on your email list for your next adventure! (I'm in your LinkedIn too!) Cheers for now...
Say it ain't so iBG! (or should I say G) You will be missed! I looked forward each day to seeing what book was there and what you had to say about it. Because of iBW i came across many terrific books I did not know about prior. Best wishes for the next chapter of the iBG adventure.
"Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light;
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout,
But there is no joy in inBubbleville—mighty iBG has struck out."

Ryan, Thanks for making a number of my
days better with a good laugh, a good
idea of the next book I should read and
of course grouping together a great
bunch of people!
I'm in mourning. But, I still think you need to publish a book of all the quirky answers you received to those questions...
Best of Luck!! (and my kids liked the bubble wrap, too).
So sad! I will miss InBubbleWrap being part of my daily routine and all of the humor you have brought, Ryan. Not to mention the books! I have a little "business book library" at my desk now, thanks to you. I wish you and InBubbleLady much happiness and wish you success in your future. I hope you will look back fondly on this time when you connected with so many...
Too bad. But, it was becoming obvious that the old Ryan zing just wasn't there any more. Your heart just wasn't in it the last couple of months, and it showed. Best wishes for whatever you decide to do next.
Thank you for spearheading the IBW effort. I have enjoyed reading it and also reading the books that I have received. My kids have enjoyed the bubble wrap and my one year old really enjoys the boxes. I hope you have a great future and thanks again! _Scott
That's a bummer. At least the opportunity to win all the books I have has really enlightened me and changed many ways in which I behave at work. It's only up from here!
I will miss the emails, the descriptions, the questions -- but I wish you the best wherever you go!

Well, this certainly popped my bubble. May all your future non-bubble activities be as bubbly as this one. And remember to drink a little bubbly as you head out the door one last time.
Oh yeah, one more thing Ryan... Let us all know what you are up to next, you have our e-mails!

I hear Miller Park is hiring.
Let me know if you need some help co-authoring a book of epic stories and quirk.
Of course for all of you, watch for BubHub....it's coming soon.

Tears, tears, crying.... Something I look forward to each day... InBubble... no more... all good things come to an end, change is good, time marches on... (so much BS)....

"Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light;
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout,
But there is no joy in inBubbleville—mighty iBG has struck out."
Peace be the journey my friend...

The saddest part? The little "come back tomorrow!" boilerplate when I signed up for my very last offer.
This is a real loss - it was a great service and I learned about all manner of terrific business books from you guys.
